Core Responsibilities:

-Support the Lead Teacher in caring for children ages 1–3

-Help maintain a warm, orderly, and nurturing classroom environment

-Assist with daily rhythms including snack and lunch preparation, inside and outside play, toileting/diapering, transitions and mealtimes

-Engage children through age-appropriate song, movement, storytelling, and artistic work

-Collaborate with Early Childhood faculty and staff to uphold program quality and consistency

-Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Required Qualifications and Skills:

-Genuine interest in Waldorf education and early childhood development

-High school diploma required

-Minimum of two years documented experience working with children

-Understanding of young children’s physical, social, emotional, and developmental needs

-Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and families

-Musical, artistic, or handwork skills are valued

-All required clearances upon hire

-Previous Waldorf training or experience is welcomed but not required. Openness to learning and alignment with Waldorf pedagogy are essential.
