Preschool Teacher – The Agape School
The Agape School is seeking a passionate, energetic, and nurturing Preschool Teacher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is committed to creating a safe, engaging, and loving environment where young children can learn, explore, and thrive.
Responsibilities:
• Implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons using our Learning Beyond Paper curriculum.
• Provide hands-on, play-based experiences supporting social-emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Actively engage and interact with children throughout the day.
• Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and childcare licensing requirements.
• Communicate professionally with families and provide daily updates through ProCare.
• Encourage positive behavior, independence, kindness, and confidence.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
• Dependable, patient, creative, energetic, and passionate about working with children.
• Must meet all PA childcare licensing and background clearance requirements.
