Brief Overview:
Lifesteps is immediately hiring a part-time Child Services Assistant to work in the Beaver, PA office.

The Early Childhood Developmental Screener works both hands on with children and also administratively in an office setting.

The main function of the Child Services Assistant is to schedule, conduct, and score developmental screenings for children ages birth to 5 years old.

Job Responsibilities:
Duties include calling perspective families or daycare centers and childrens groups to schedule them for a date to have a screening conducted.
Follows the provided screener tool to evaluate hearing, speech, motor skills, and cognitive areas.
Responsible for sharing the results of the screening to the parents in a professional manner
Provides parents with information on developmentally appropriate activities, services, and child development.
Travel throughout the assigned area to conduct meetings and screenings.
