Job Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations of the childcare center to ensure a safe, organized, and positive learning environment for children and staff.
• Supervise, support, and manage teaching staff, including scheduling, training, and providing guidance to maintain high-quality classroom practices.
• Ensure the center remains in compliance with all state licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and Keystone STARS requirements.
• Support teachers with lesson planning and classroom management while promoting developmentally appropriate practices for children.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to staff, children, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate professionally with families regarding program updates, child progress, and center policies.
• Coordinate staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities.
• Address any concerns related to staff, children, or families in a professional and timely manner.
• Support enrollment efforts and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective families.
