Brief Overview:
Mt. Lebanon Extended Day program is hiring a lifeguard/summer camp counselor to work in our innovative summer camp environment serving children completing grades K-5. . The program offers STEAM activities, swimming, special guests, and team building.

The campers will attend Mt. Lebanon Pool from 1pm-3pm and we are in need of a lifeguard (or counselor willing to obtain certification paid by agency) to oversee the supervision of staff and pool regulations. .

If you are passionate about positively impacting the lives of children and having the opportunity to use your creativity to work in staff to child ratio of 1:12, then this position is a good fit. You will work 6 hours each day Monday through Friday in either a morning or afternoon shift. Our staff is comprised of year round teachers as well as summer seasonal staff who will have opportunities for year round employment.

Job Responsibilities:
Camp Counselor/Lifeguard Qualifications:

Have a passion for working with school-age children
Lifeguard certification (or willing to obtain)
Be enthusiastic and engaging with children
Enjoy working with a team of other teachers
Be at least 18 years of age and a HS graduate.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
Obtain child abuse, criminal background check and FBI background check.
